My oldest, Eva, is a third grader and my youngest, Vivi, will join Pointers Run as a kindergartener in 2026. This is our second year at Pointers Run and my first as a volunteer with the PTA. We moved to Clarksville in 2024 after several years in Silver Spring, and we had a great experience joining Pointers Run last year. I was so impressed by how the school and PTA worked to create a welcoming community, and I’m thrilled to serve on the PTA’s Executive Board this year! I worked in independent school development and administration focused on fundraising, events management, and communications for twenty years; I currently work for a database company that supports independent schools. In my free time, I love to hang out with Eva and Vivi at farmers markets, take our mutt Dexter for long walks, and cook from my embarrassingly large cookbook collection.
