CULTURAL ARTS
Reptiles on the Go assembly is Tuesday, October 11th for K - 4. They are a traveling nature center which provides a hands-on interactive, educational reptile program. They will bring 12 - 15 different animals for the kids to see and touch, including a snapping turtle, giant tortoise, monitor lizard, corn snake, etc...
The Howard County Conservancy will be here again this year for their barred owl program to Kindergartners. This is scheduled for Friday, November 18th beginning at 9:45am.
Gayle Danley is here for the 5th graders beginning November 28 through December 2.
The Maryland Science Center will be here for K - 5 on May 3 and May 10 - further details as we get closer to that date.
The Howard County Conservancy will be have a Butterfly program for 2nd graders, during their butterfly unit in May.

CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS
Cultural Celebrations Committee organizes a month-long celebration in February / early-March to celebrate diversity at PRES. Planned activities include a Cultural Assembly, a Native Costume Parade/Gallery Walk and a Family Cultural Night featuring a student talent show and international foods, games, and crafts.
